Sui iuris

June 7th: Today was a Day of manual labor ... and video games. Had to all the sweaty labor of digging up the cover of a septic tank, and installing a pool pump. OOOO and I got to pet Tux (the white and black kitten living outside today) today, TWICE. Phoenix is not a big fan of his, she hissed at him when I brought him inside, and before that earlier in the day she smelt him and Johnboy ( the first cat we called our own here, a stray we decided to feed) on my hands and hissed at me. The Gaul of that woman, hissing at me. Doesn't she know I feed her and clean her litter box :P  Snapped some super cute pictures of the kittens today too.

All the cuteness aside, this blog is not about cats. Today's reason why I love her is "Sui iuris" its Latin for 'DAT ASS!'. Just kidding it means 'of ones own laws', I found it while skimming the thesaurus for a word that was on the tip of my tongue that I thought would be a good word for today's reason, that word is nonconforming, but I think I like the Latin better.  But yes, she walks to the beat of her own drum. Whether it be her tattoos, piercings, dying her hair, gaming, or even dating me. She does what makes her happy, no matter what people think about it or say about it. And I love this about her. I will post pictures of her tattoos and piercings below :)
